Thelma Taylor Doss

Thelma Taylor Doss, age 96, of Leoma, TN passed away Monday, July 07, 2025, at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Fall River United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Taylor and Mabel Marston Gibson; her first husband, Herbert Taylor; her second husband, Troy Doss; three sisters, Mary Bivens, Ruth White, and Evelyn Glass; one son, Larry Dale Taylor; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Taylor.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Taylor (Beverly) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Richard Taylor of Leoma, TN; three daughters, Janet Glass (Jay Dee) of Leoma, TN, Kathy McLearan (Denis) of Tulsa, OK, and Karen Fesler (Dan) of Cookeville, TN; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  Those serving as pallbearers are Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jacob, Justin, Adam, and Greg.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2025, with Ben Luna and Harold Young officiating.  Interment will follow at Fall River Cemetery in Leoma, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Fall River Cemetery Fund.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
