Douglas Glenn Royse
Born September 3, 1960, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.
Passed away July 7,, 2025 at home, Five Points, Tennessee after a long illness.
Douglas was a disabled Army Veteran
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Earl Royse and Frances Royse Nix; His maternal grandparents Orion O. Young and Ola Birdyshaw Young; his father James Earl Royse; and two brothers James O. Royse and Timothy A. Royse.
He is survived by mother Thalia E. Young of Lawrenceburg; a daughter Angela Royse & three grandchildren of Winder, Georgia; and one sister Tamara E. Young (Tony) of Cummings, Georgia.
Graveside Service Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Second Creek Cemetery. Danny Pettus will be officiating. With Burial to follow in Second Creek Cemetery.
