The Lawrenceburg City Council will convene Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Meeting Room at the Lawrenceburg Municipal Complex, located at 25 Public Square. The public is invited to attend, and individuals wishing to speak on agenda items must sign in prior to the start of the meeting.

Council members will consider two ordinances on first reading.

Ordinance No. 1436 proposes amendments to the city’s Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 789), specifically regarding the administration and enforcement of zoning regulations. The changes aim to consolidate and clarify fee structures related to planning, zoning, and permitting by revising multiple previous ordinances.

Ordinance No. 1437 seeks to amend Municipal Code Title 17 concerning the city’s refuse and trash disposal policies. The amendment would update the policy for the city’s dumpster collection system, specifically Section 17-103 regarding garbage containers.

In addition, the Council will vote on a resolution authorizing the Lawrenceburg Sanitation Department to purchase a new 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 4WD Crew Cab from Wilson Motors.

All items discussed will impact city operations and services, and community participation is encouraged.
