Lawrence County Commission Schedules Three Public Meetings This Week

Lawrence County residents will have several opportunities to stay informed on local government matters this week, with three public meetings scheduled at the Administrative Center.

The week begins with the Facilities Committee meeting on Tuesday, July 8 at 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, July 10, the Commission will hold two additional sessions: the Resolution Committee at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Budget Committee at 5:30 p.m.

All three meetings will take place in the second-floor conference room of the Lawrence County Administrative Center. Items discussed Thursday will pertain to the upcoming regular Commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 22.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and stay engaged in the county’s decision-making process.
