Crews Quickly Contain Fire at Industrial Site in Florence

Florence Fire Rescue responded to an industrial fire Wednesday afternoon in the 3200 block of Roberson Road after a paper baler caught fire inside a facility.

Just after 1:00 p.m., fire crews arrived on scene to find the equipment actively burning inside the building. Firefighters acted swiftly to extinguish the flames and successfully contained the fire to the paper baler itself, preventing any damage to the structure.

No injuries were reported, and the building remained unharmed thanks to the prompt response of the crews. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
