Loretto Board Adopts New Sign Restrictions

The Loretto Board of Aldermen has approved an ordinance that places limits on off-premises advertising signs inside the city limits.  The ordinance stipulates that signs may be no more than five-feet wide and no taller than five-feet off the ground at the tallest point.  Violations carry a $50 civil penalty plus court cost.  Each day the violation continues constitutes a separate offense.
