SACRED HEART LORETTO ANNOUNCES 4TH OF JULY PICNIC SCHEDULE

Sacred Heart Church in Loretto has released the schedule for its annual 4th of July Picnic. The day begins at 7 a.m. with the Country Store (plants, veggies, fleamarket). At 8 a.m., the bake sale, auction viewing, and patriotic booth open, and the 5K run starts (registration at 6:30 am). By 10 a.m., the sandwich stand and games open, and the Mr. and Miss Independence Beauty Pageant begins (pre-registration required July 3 from 4–6 pm). At noon, the beer garden opens, and the Middle Tennessee Community Band performs. The Kids Cornhole Tournament starts at 1 p.m., followed by the Adult Tournament and Bike Parade at 2 pm. Supper begins at 4 p.m. in the gym, with ham, fried chicken, vegetables, fruit, bread, dessert, and drinks available. The online auction closes at 5 p.m., and bingo starts at 6 p.m. in the gym. The event ends with fireworks at 9 p.m.
