On Wednesday, June 11th, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call in reference to a burglary that occurred at Highway 43 North Storage Units. The individual who made the report stated the owner of the units contacted him on Monday, June 9th to inform him that the lock on the unit was not latched, so the owner took action and locked the unit for security. The individual stated due to scheduling, he was unable to check the unit until two days later, when the report was made. After searching the unit, the individual discovered several items were missing including power tools and hand tools.
