LCF&R Battle Brush Fire

Lawrence County Fire and Rescue crews worked a brush fire on Long Branch Road Thursday.  Crews from Leoma, Crossroads and Gandy Volunteer Fire Departments arrived to find the fire burning across approximately one acre of land.  They were able to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures, then extinguish it before additional damage was done.
