Barbara Ann Hunt Green

Barbara Ann Hunt Green, 84, of Loretto, TN, passed away June 13, 2025, at Maury Regional Hospital.  She was a homemaker and retired from food service work at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and was a member of Grassy Baptist Church. 

 

Survivors include:

Son:  Keith Hunt (Sonoe)

Daughters:  Donna Kelley(Keith), Lynn McGee, Kim Edwards(Sam), Pam Corum(Tim)

Grandchildren:  Larry Hunt, Ashley Eck, Celia Glaze, Caroline Landrum, Josh Kramer, 

Chris Hunt, Eric Kelley, Patrick Hunt, Anna Hunt, Noah Ward, Faith Ward

Great grandchildren:  Megan Hunt, Sophia Hunt, Kameren Hunt, Kadence Eck, 

Eden Mothershed, Hazel Kelley, Ava Kelley, Eleanor Ward, Eliza Ward

Son-in-law:  Jim Ward

Bonus children:  Larry Green, Deana Geiske, Tina Hall(Mike), Tim Green

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

Husband & father of her children:  George Elvis Hunt

Second husband:  Terry Don Green

Parents:  Asa Joshua Newton & Annie Bell Cottrell Newton

Daughters:  JoAnn Hunt, Tina Ward

Brothers:  Elbert Newton, James Newton, David Newton

 

Visitation will be on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Grassy Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, at the church, with Sam Wallace officiating.  Burial will be at Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. 

 

Pallbearers will be:  Keith Hunt, Patrick Hunt, Chris Hunt, Eric Kelley, Josh Kramer, Tim Corum. 

 

Honorary pallbearers:  Sam Edwards, Keith Kelley, Joe Eck, Terry Thomas.

 

The family would like to thank the medical ICU staff at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN, and the CCU at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. 

 

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
