Rotarian Ryan Egly, President and CEO of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, was the featured speaker at the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club’s Friday meeting on June 6th, 2025. Egly’s presentation highlighted the Chamber’s 75th anniversary and emphasized its ongoing mission to drive economic growth and community engagement throughout Lawrence County. Egly shared updates on the Chamber’s broad efforts in tourism promotion and marketing support for local businesses. He outlined several hallmark events supported by the Chamber including Agriculture Day, the Christmas Parade, and the annual Golf Tournament, each of which plays a role in strengthening community pride and business visibility. He also announced the recent expansion of Craig Manufacturing, which will bring 30 high-quality jobs to the area. This development is part of a larger strategy to position Lawrenceburg and Lawrence County as a standalone destination for both visitors and future residents. Egly noted the positive demographic trends shaping the county’s future, projecting population growth to exceed 50,000 residents by 2030. He also cited a drop in the county’s median age from 42 to 39 as an indicator of renewed vitality and appeal to younger families and professionals. Rotarians expressed appreciation for Egly’s leadership and vision, and for the Chamber’s continued partnership in advancing Lawrence County’s economic and cultural future.
