A TDOT Project Will Soon Begin Including Road Closures on Lawrenceburg Highway

Dement Construction Company has released a statement about a road closure project on Lawrenceburg Hwy. A TDOT project, CNZ019, in Maury County will soon begin with a section of Lawrenceburg Hwy being required to close where the bridge crosses over the Tennessee Southern Railroad. Detour signs will be posted for the detour based on the traffic control plan that was designed and approved by TDOT engineers, to help ensure the safety of the motor public, as well as crews constructing the new bridge and roadway. Dement Construction expresses their apologizes in advance for the inconvenience, but a detour is necessary to construct the project as designed. This section of the road will most likely be closed until May 31st, 2026. This closure should take place on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, weather permitting.
