Brenda Dean Boshers

Brenda Dean Boshers, age 65, of Summertown, TN peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Daughter of the late Charles Ray Hulsey and Nadine Moore, she was one of four children—the only girl—growing up in Haleyville, AL. She always loved the peacefulness of being outside, watching the birds. She was particularly fond of sunflowers and she placed them everywhere.

Brenda begged for grandkids, and was the world’s proudest Nana. She also had a large heart for animals. A huge Alabama fan, Brenda always loved watching football games between Alabama and Tennessee. She was widely known and loved throughout the community, and the memory of her kindness will always be remembered.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Teddy, and Ray.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Ricky Boshers; daughter, Vanessa Dale (Matthew); granddaughters, Gracelyn Dale and Ashlyn Dale; brother, Royce Hulsey (Annette); stepson, Rick Boshers; stepdaughter, Deranda Boshers; and a host of cherished neighbors and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at noon, officiated by Bro. Jacob Dale. Interment will be in John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
