According to a local news source, a Mount Pleasant lady is facing accusations of her own after reportedly pursuing her husband’s victim to avenge his wrongdoings. On the morning of May 7th, 2025, Aldegonda Bienca Fletcher, 63, was taken into custody and charged with felony retaliation, aggravated criminal trespass, and vandalism. On allegations of disturbing the peace and allegedly damaging an elderly woman’s property in Mount Pleasant while intoxicated many months prior, her husband, David Fletcher, 57, was scheduled to be arraigned in Maury County general sessions court that morning. A court officer stood up when Mr. Fletcher was called before the bench and requested that the judge proceed with his case directly to trial. The official said that Fletcher’s wife had allegedly “driven into the property” of his vandalism victim earlier that morning with the apparent intent to seek revenge. The judge granted the request, and on September 10th, 2025, Mr. Fletcher will stand trial for the same accusations as his wife, along with the violation of an order of protection. On May 15th, Mrs. Fletcher was arrested; that same evening, she was freed on a $10,000 bond. The circuit court has temporarily sealed other data from the public at the district attorney’s request.
