Mount Pleasant Fire Destroys Tack Building

Members of the Mount Pleasant Fire Department responded to a fire at a farm Monday afternoon that resulted in substantial structural damage.  The fire ignited in a tack room, destroying the structure and its contents.  The fire is believed to be electrical in nature, sparked by a small refrigerator.  Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread to larger structures nearby.
