Lawrence County School System Announces News Assistant Principal at Leoma Elementary School

Lawrence County Schools announce the new Assistant Principal of Leoma Elementary School, Arleigh Bryant. With 19 years of teaching experience, Bryant has taught high school courses in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, ACT Prep, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, Chemistry, and Honors Chemistry for 18 of those years. She was most recently Leoma Elementary School’s Dean of Students. Mrs. Bryant has had many leadership positions over her career. She was an assistant softball coach at LCHS and an assistant basketball coach at Columbia Central and Lawrence County High Schools. Mrs. Bryant graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies (2006), Western Kentucky University with a Master of Arts in Mathematics (2013), and Middle Tennessee State University with an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision (2023). She lives in Lawrence County with her husband, McClane, and their three kids, Mick, Keegan, and Tiffin. “I am thankful for the time I was able to spend as Dean of Students at Leoma Elementary School and am grateful and excited for the opportunity to become the Assistant Principal,” said Mrs. Bryant. “I look forward to continuing to work alongside our administration, faculty, and staff to help students succeed. Congratulations, to Arleigh Bryant on her new role as Assistant Principal at Leoma Elementary School!
