Betty Cox Obituary
Betty Jean Cox, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Countryside Health and Rehabilitation in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and liked to dance. She loved Elvis, loved dogs and cats, and watching family in sporting events.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Eldora Miller Williams; and brother, Roy Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul Cox of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Gina Gray of Leoma, TN; one granddaughter, Breyanna Postol of Leoma, TN; and one brother, James Williams of Ethridge, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are, Chance White, Eric Bivens, Dawson Bivens, and Blake Bivens.

The family would like to thank Countryside Healthcare and Encompass Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Mrs. Betty.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 8, 2025, with Chad Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
