On behalf of the Lawrence County School System, Director of Schools, Mr. Michael Adkins, ED. S., has now announced that Jonathon Brashier will be joining the Ingram Sowell Elementary School staff as Assistant Principal. Thirteen of Mr. Brashier’s fourteen years of teaching experience were happily spent working with the kids and families of Lawrence County Schools. He started off as a teacher at Centennial Elementary in Dickson, Tennessee, before becoming a special education teacher at Ethridge Elementary in 2012. He most recently worked at Summertown Elementary as Dean of Students, where he assisted faculty and staff in fostering a welcoming and supportive learning environment. He graduated from Arkansas State University with an Educational Specialist degree and Belmont University with a Master of Education. The numerous gifted administrators he has worked under have had a significant impact on him throughout his career, and he views their mentoring as a crucial component of his development. Serving the Lawrence County community brings him immense delight, and he is dedicated about developing strong relationships with kids, families, and staff. He is very thrilled about this new phase of his career and is looking forward to working with the committed staff at Ingram Sowell to help students and further the school’s objectives. The fourth prospective administrator from the Dean of Students program to advance to the role of assistant principal is Mr. Jonathan Brashier.
