A Fayetteville, Tennessee Male is Arrested on Statutory Rape Allegations

After an inquiry into a claimed sexual encounter with a juvenile, a 24-year-old male from Fayetteville, Tennessee, was taken into custody on statutory rape allegations. According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Savon C. Black was arrested on May 26th by the Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit on a warrant for second-degree rape(statutory). The accusations were the result of a criminal investigation that deputies carried out after learning of allegations that a minor under the age of sixteen had been involved in the assault. Assistance was provided by the Morgan County Advocacy Center during the investigation alongside deputies to gather evidence. Black was transported to the Morgan County Jail where he remains without bond.
