Huntsville K-9 Officer Apprehends Rape Suspect

Huntsville Police Department’s K-9 officer Diego helped in the apprehension of a suspect wanted in connection with a rape case involving a child.  When they approached the subject, officers report he fled on foot and Diego was able to quickly apprehend him.  The man was treated at a hospital, then booked into the Madison County Jail on charges of first-degree rape, first degree sodomy, enticing a child, third degree burglary, possession of marijuana, attempting to elude police, and two misdemeanors warrants for failure to appear in court.
