The Dickson County Humane Society is warning the public of a scam where people are being approached, seeking donations via Venmo from an account posing as the Humane Society.  These are part of a scam and they warn residents not to accept any requests from any platform asking for money in their name.  Donations may be made safely to their organization by visiting their website: HumaneSocietyOfDickson.com.
