A Suspect Related to a Homicide in Lewisburg is Found in Pulaski

According to the Lewisburg Police Department, an individual has been identified and arrested as a suspect in the robbery homicide that occurred at the Marathon located at 1535 Mooresville HWY in Lewisburg. The subject was located and taken into custody in Pulaski at the Budget Inn which caused multiple portions of Highway 31A to be shut-down along with a local school until the suspect was apprehended. With the assistance of the Pulaski Police Department and the Giles County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, David Hamilton, was arrested and charged with Criminal Homicide. Additional charges are expected to come. The Lewisburg Police Department stated a press release will be given at a later time. Giles County Sheriff, Joe Purvis, gave his appreciation to the community for their patience and understanding during the incident.
