Rescheduled!! Lawrence County Board of Education Upcoming Meeting

The Lawrence County Board of Education will meet on Thursday, May 29th at 5:00 PM. A Retreat Board meeting will be prior to the Board of Education from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The agenda for the Board of Education includes; presentations from foreign exchange students, recognizing a retired educator, and consent items to be voted on as a group. These consent items involve volunteers and approving field trips, sports tournaments, and educational conventions. The agenda will also include; report items, executive committee items for consideration and discussion such as water heaters and farming land. Budget items will be discussed such as the approval of 2025-2026 budgets, Summertown High School gym dressing room and classroom furniture. Also, paving Lawrence County High School and summer school supplies for the district. Other items for consideration and discussion will be approval of differentiated pay plan, sport co-op agreements, and scheduling next board meetings.
