The VFW Post 1618 Formal Flag Retirement Ceremony and Festivities

Everyone is welcome to attend the VFW Post 1618 Formal Flag Retirement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17th. The VFW Post 1618 will be retiring the American Flag that flies in front of the post. A coloring contest with prizes will take place for children in the community. The first-place winner will win $75.00 cash. There will be hotdogs, popcorn, and slushies for free for all children to enjoy. A BBQ Plate Dinner will begin at 3:00 PM and will be $14.00 a plate. The Flag Retirement Ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM with prizes at 6:00 PM where the coloring contest winners will be announced. Karaoke will begin at 7:00 PM.
