The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office would like to make the public aware of a program that will be occurring in Lawrence County during the summer. Southwestern Advantage is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and maintains an A+ rating. College students have participated in the Southwestern Advantage sales and leadership program for over 160 years. This summer, a representative will come to the community of Lawrenceburg in hopes to advance their business in selling educational products to families. The department wants to clarify that dispatch is aware of the business in hopes to control calls from the public. The college student does have a permit and credentials to do this in Lawrence County. The student will be living in the community over the summer going door to door to introduce the program. The student has completed over 100 hours of in-person and online training in such areas as business management, product knowledge, sales presentations, ethics, and safety. The representative is Sophia Galbraith of Tarpon Springs, Florida who attended the University of Florida. Do not be alarmed, she will be driving a 2014 Black Kia Optima and will be attempting to speak with you at your residence. As with any business, please be kind and know she is only trying to advance her business while helping families with educational products.
