A Collision in Lawrence County Claims a Life and Several Others are Severely Injured

On Sunday afternoon, a vehicle crash claimed a life and several others were injured in Lawrence County. Just before 4:00 PM, two vehicles collided on Highway 43 close to the Purcell Lane intersection in Leoma, resulting in a fatality. The death of one victim was declared at the scene. For treatment of serious injuries, at least three additional individuals were taken to hospitals in Nashville. The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Leoma Fire Department, Lawrence County EMS, Air Evac 110, Lawrenceburg/Lawrence County EMA, and the Lawrenceburg Police Department were among the first to arrive on the scene. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the incident is still being investigated.
