Tennessee State Parks are Ready for Mother’s Day

Seven Tennessee State Park restaurants will offer special dining for the occasion, and many more parks will hold events on Mother’s Day, though not all are explicitly related to the holiday. The parks also provide gifts that can be purchased online. Park restaurants with special meals include; Pickwick Landing in Counce, Henry Horton in Chapel Hill, David Crockett in Lawrenceburg, Montgomery Bell in Burns, Fall Creek Falls in Spencer, Cumberland Mountain in Crossville, and Paris Landing in Buchanan. The restaurant at David Crockett will provide mom with the ultimate in Southern hospitality with a Mother’s Day buffet with favorites such as country fried chicken breast, macaroni & cheese, homemade banana pudding, and pecan pie. Reservations are not accepted. The meal is first come, first served, and your full party must be present before seated. The conference center at Henry Horton State Park is hosting a Mother’s Day meal. Give her coconut cloud cake, roasted corn salad, and chicken pot pie. Additionally, the restaurant will provide moms with exciting cocktail specials, such as Mommas Muscadine Mimosas and Bahama Mamas! Also, Mother’s Day buffet at Pickwick Landing Restaurant, which is sure to brighten her day. The restaurant will feature classic dishes including peach cobbler, macaroni and cheese, and smoked tenderloin. Go for a stroll around the lake with Mom after lunch! The full group must be present before seating is assigned, and reservations are not accepted.
