An Athens Man is Arrested for Several Felony Warrants

An Athens man was taken into custody by Priceville Police early on Wednesday morning after a routine traffic stop turned up several felony arrest warrants. Around 3:00 AM, police stopped a car in the 3200 block of Hwy 67, according to Priceville Police. After being recognized, it was discovered that the driver, Arron Jade Brooks, 26, had many outstanding warrants. Police looked into it further and found that Brooks was wanted on felony nationwide extradition warrants for theft of a motor vehicle out of Indiana and burglary (forcible entry) through the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office. After being arrested, Brooks was turned over to the Limestone County authorities.
