A former truck driver was found guilty of killing a pregnant lady in Tennessee in 1991, bringing an end to a three-decade-old cold case. For killing Pamela McCall, 33, and her unborn child, Clark Baldwin was found guilty and given a life sentence. In March 1991, McCall’s body was discovered discarded along Saturn Parkway in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Investigators revived the case in 2019 and used cutting-edge DNA testing techniques to connect Baldwin to the crime, which led to the case’s breakthrough. Additionally, the DNA evidence linked Baldwin to two other unsolved murders in 1992—just over a year after McCall’s murder—that took place in Wyoming. McCall was strangled to death at the time of her murder; she was 24 weeks pregnant. She wasn’t identified until a month after her body was found on March 10th, 1991, along Saturn Parkway at the Port Royal Road off-ramp. After being detained in 2020, Baldwin was sent to Maury County, Tennessee, to stand trial. He was found guilty of killing McCall and her unborn child in May 2025. Baldwin is currently facing more accusations in Wyoming for the killings of two women, “Bitter Creek Betty” from Sweetwater County and “I-90 Jane Doe” from Sheridan County. For these offenses, he will be taken to Wyoming to face trial.
