Dannie Ray Benefield, age 71, of Huntsville, AL passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Coca Cola, and of the Christian Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lindsey W. Benefield.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Benefield; mother, Charlotte Faye Davis Benefield; two sisters, Cynthia Hughes and Donna Webster (Steve); one brother, Darryl Benefield; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James Stinson (Eileen Fox) and Wayne Stinson (Diane); four nieces; four nephews; three great-nieces; and nine great-nephews. Those serving as pallbearers, Hollin Anglin, Kenneth “Ken” Buie, Gabby Brazier, Scott Brazier, Steven “Bubba” Webster, and Logan Ford. Also, serving as honorary pallbearers are Chicago Tom, Drew Hughes, and Nathan Liebhart.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2025. Interment will follow at Kidd Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
