William Nance Price

William Nance Price of Pulaski, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 30 th , 2025 at NHC
Healthcare. He was born on September 20 th , 1932 and was 92 years old.
William was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a United States Navy Veteran
and served during the Korean Conflict. While stationed at Corpus Christi, TX William met the
love of his life, which led him to always have a special love for the state of Texas. He was a
Middle Tennessee State University graduate. William was a retired educator from the Giles
County School System as well as a retired farmer. He was a member of West Madison Street
Church of Christ. He had a passion for fishing, especially with his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5 th , 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May &
Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home
and Crematory.
The burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery in Pulaski, TN with full military honors.
He was preceded in death by, his loving wife of 67 years Clesta Price, his parents, Ariel and Leda
Price, daughter, Jennifer Price Simms, son-in-law, Wiley Simms, Brother, Thomas Ariel Price,
and Sister, Ann Price Cobb.
He is survived by,
Son, Tommy (Sheila) Price of Pulaski, TN
Daughter, Nancy Price Dunavant of Pulaski, TN
Grandchildren, Alison Price Young (Clay), Ryan Price, Jake Dunavant (Amanda), Joseph
Dunavant, Jake Simms, and William Simms.
Great Grandchildren, Tillman and Tucker Dunavant
Sisters, Linda Lipham and Betty McRree
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
