Letha Howell King, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 03, 2025, at her residence with her family by her side. She was a native of Columbia, TN, retired Laboratory Technician, a member of Lawrenceburg Elks Lodge #2206, and Pleasant Grove United Methodist. She loved painting rocks, going on cruises, cooking, and playing with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Isaac and Betty Linville Howell; one brother, Randy E. Howell; and two granddaughters, Lacey Brianna King and Letha Renee Mitchell.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James Glenn King of Lawrenceburg, TN; four children, Grace Ann Dalton (Todd) of Columbia, TN, James J. Payne of Bradenton, FL, John King (Michelle) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Stephanie Gilbreath (Jason) of College Grove, TN; one bonus daughter, Shellie Evans (Jon) of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Those serving as pallbearers are Jack Gilbreath, Hudsen Gilbreath, Adam Howell, Randy Howell II, Dillon Moore, and Jon Evans.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at 11:00 AM Monday, May 05, 2025, with Bobby Gobble officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be mailed to Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund, Patti Moore, 340 Valley Road, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
