A Maury County Sheriff’s Deputy is Arrested and Charged for DUI

According to FOX17, a Maury County Sheriff’s Deputy was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Driving, Driving Under the Influence, and Felony Evading Arrest. According to authorities, the Columbia Police Department arrested 39-year-old Sgt. Randy Allen Marrisett on Wednesday, April 30th. He was booked into the Maury County Jail at 11:25 AM and released on his own recognizance at 12:55 PM, according to booking records. Marrisett will face the three charges in General Sessions Court on Monday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM.
