Two Florence Minors are Arrested and Face Tennessee and Alabama Charges

On Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, Florence Police responded to a report of a stolen car near Creekside Apartments on Roberts Lane. On the same day, officers responded to the 2300 block of Maple Avenue for a car burglary in which a weapon was stolen. The Hamilton County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Department recovered the stolen vehicle, which was inhabited by two Florence minors, on Tuesday afternoon. Deputies also found the stolen handgun and other victims’ belongings in the car. The teenagers were arrested and face Tennessee charges relating to the stop, as well as additional Alabama offenses. All suspects are assumed innocent unless proven guilty. The Florence Police Department encourages everyone to lock their vehicles and take valuables out of them, especially firearms.
