A Woman Killed and Another Injured in a Collision in Killen

According to Shoals Insider, in a two-vehicle incident on Highway 72 in Killen on Tuesday morning, a woman was killed and another was injured. According to officials, the crash occurred around 7:00 AM between Brooks High School and Uncle Charlie’s, a well-known local restaurant on the highway. Emergency workers arrived soon at the scene and determined that one female victim had died as a result of the incident. The deceased’s name is being concealed pending notification to her family. Another person involved in the incident was taken to a nearby medical facility for observation. Their current condition has not been revealed. The cause of the collision is still being investigated by local authorities.
