Mount Pleasant Police Warn Residents of Scam

Mount Pleasant Police Department is reminding the public that your bank will never ask you to give out your personal information by phone, email, or text.  If someone claiming to represent your bank contacts you and asks you to verify your username, password, account number, or any other person information, they urge you to hang up and contact your local law enforcement agency.  Also, contact your bank as quickly as possible to notify them if you are contacted in this manner.
