Lawrence County Democratic Party Elects New Officers

The Lawrence County Democratic Party met Tuesday to elect new officers and Executive Committee members.  Longtime county official Chris D. Jackson was elected chairman.  The group adopted a clear mission of bringing the party back to the middle – where most people are.  The party meets the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence County Courthouse.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
