A Pulaski Daycare Worker is Charged with Nearly 200 Counts Involving Child Abuse

On March 5th, 2025, Officers with the Pulaski Police Department responded to Kids City USA in reference to allegations of Child Abuse. According to a press release and a local news source, charges were filed that day for Simple Assault against 52-year-old Erica Monique Coleman of Pulaski. After the initial complaint, Investigator Jordan Ramsey began a follow up investigation to ensure there were no further victims related to this incident. After an extensive investigation, Investigator Ramsey uncovered multiple victims related to similar incidents involving Ms. Coleman. Due to the severity and sensitivity of this investigation, General Brent Cooper called for a special session of the Giles County Grand Jury. Investigator Ramsey presented her findings to the Grand Jury resulting in nearly 200 counts of Assault, Child Abuse, Aggravated Assault, Attempted Aggravated Assault and Attempted Aggravated Child Abuse. On April 24th, 2025, Ms. Coleman was arrested and was transported to the Giles County Jail. This matter continues to be open pending further investigation.
