The Natchez Trace Parkway is Nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Scenic Drives for 2025

The Natchez Trace Parkway, one of America’s most cherished roads, has formally been nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Scenic Drives for 2025. This recognition honors the scenic byways’ cultural heritage and natural beauty throughout the country. This nomination emphasizes what residents and visitors have long understood: the Natchez Trace Parkway, which stretches 444 miles across Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, is more than just a road trip; it’s a journey through time that provides views of beautiful landscapes, a wealth of history, and a touch of southern charm. Natchez Trace Compact executive director, Kim Foster, stated, “This nomination is a wonderful opportunity to remind the nation of what makes the Trace so special, and we need everyone to help us spread the word and vote.
