Carolyn Ann Corbin Lyons

Carolyn Ann Corbin Lyons, age 79, of Summertown, TN passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired school bus driver from the Lawrence County School System. She enjoyed going to the beach, watching baseball, and country music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Lee and Daris Ann Benefield Corbin; one daughter, Rita Ann Lyons Rawdon; and one brother, Jerry Allen Corbin.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jesse Paul Lyons; two daughters, Anita Dickey (Terry) and Paula Hallmark; eight siblings, Kathryn Keener, Leon Corbin, Edwin Corbin (June), Fred Corbin (Brenda), Debbie Killen (Mike), Danny Corbin (Melinda), Glynda Stanford (Tim), and Darlene Ibbotson; six grandchildren, Jerrica Barnett (Jason), Nicholas Dickey (Kelly), Sara Staggs (Cody), Jessica Hallmark (Caleb), Allen Hallmark (Kayla), Katie Rawdon; and several great-grandchildren. Those serving as pallbearers are Nicholas Dickey, Allen Hallmark, Cody Staggs, Wayne Lyons, David Lyons, and Matt Lyons.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 18, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2025, with Ricky Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Summertown, TN. The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
