One Female Shot and Two Males Dead in Lauderdale County

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Underwood/Petersville community located on Ingram Street at approximately 3:20 AM on April 15th, 2025, in reference to a suspicious individual. When deputies got there, they found a woman who had been shot once. It was discovered that the woman saw a man shoot one guy, then hit another man at a nearby house on Sylvan Street. The suspect followed her as she left the house, and she was shot once by the suspect while she was trying to find assistance. Two individuals were found dead when deputies arrived at the Sylvan Street residence. Sheriff’s Office investigators arrived and concluded that the suspect had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and that one male had died from wounds from a single gunshot. With non-life-threatening injuries, the injured woman was sent to a nearby hospital. Investigations into this occurrence are still ongoing.
