A House Fire in Limestone County Claims a Life

According to WAAY 31, a house fire in Limestone County has resulted in one dead according to Limestone County Coroner Mike West. The victim was identified by West as 51-year-old Raymon Lee Morgan from Athens. Around 11:20 PM on Sunday, the fire on Elk River Mills Road was reported. West reports that two others were hospitalized for smoke inhalation treatment in addition to the death. The investigation is being conducted by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshal. There are no further details at this time.
