Larry “Butch” Smith

Larry “Butch” Smith of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Wednesday evening, April 9 th , 2025, surrounded
by his loving family, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Conway, SC on April 10 th , 1961 and was 63
years old.
Butch was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman that
enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. He loved his family and
friends and got a kick out of aggravating those around him. Butch was a veteran of the United States
Navy.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13 th , 2025 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will be on Monday, April 14 th , 2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May &
Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Giles Memory Cemetery in Pulaski, Tennessee
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Patricia Smith.

Daughter, Brittany Holt of Pulaski, TN
Son, Cody Holt of Pulaski, TN
Grandson, Harley Hasting of Pulaski, TN
Sisters, Tina (Don) Haney of Pulaski, TN
Sandy (Joe) Young of Pulaski, TN
Father-in-law, Billy Joe Clifton of Pulaski, TN
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
