The City of Columbia Announce ‘Clean-Up Columbia’ for Litter Awareness Month

In honor of Litter Awareness Month in April, the City of Columbia is happy to announce the start of its Clean Up Columbia campaign. This program emphasizes how vital community cooperation, education, and proactive measures are to establishing a cleaner, more sustainable environment for all locals. The city is partnering with organizations like Keep Maury Beautiful and the Triple C”s to host two events. The first will be for the East Columbia Clean-Up on Saturday, April 12th, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the county parking lot on the corner of East 7th Street and Woodland Street. The second will be on Saturday, April 26th, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Maury County Public Library. This is a great way to be involved in the community and keep your hometown clean and beautiful!
