Mount Pleasant Police Warn of Scam

Mount Pleasant Police Department is warning residents of a scam that has been circulating.  If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be with local law enforcement, informing you that there is a warrant for your arrest for failing to report for jury duty, they ask you to please hang up.  They assure the public that, if there is a warrant for your arrest, you will not be contacted by phone.
