Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Executes a Serving Process

Last week, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department met at the corner of Lonestar Road and Gimlet Road for a serving process. Upon arrival, the subject, Carl Bell, fled the area, which caused deputies to lose sight of him. After examining the property, there were numerous campers, sheds, and other objects that the subject could have fled to. After searching for thirty minutes, Bell was found in a shed attached to a trailer and was hiding underneath what appeared to be a table and chairs. Bell was arrested for an outstanding Violation of Probation warrant, additionally Evading Arrest, and was then transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
