Ethridge Leaders To Get Rid of Train

Officials with the City of Ethridge are looking to get rid of the train that sits adjacent to city hall.  During the city commission’s March 17 meeting, Mayor Dallas Luna indicated that the city would put out feelers, to see whether anyone might be interested in acquiring the train.  Commission members say that the train does not meet a need or serve a real purpose, and worry that future upkeep and safety issues may pose a problem for the city.
