Driver Service Centers will be Open on Saturday’s Before Deadline to Obtain a REAL ID

People in Tennessee who still need to obtain their REAL IDs will soon have the option to do so on Saturdays at certain locations throughout the state. The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has announced that it will offer some extra Saturday appointments at 14 Driver Services Centers across the state for individuals with current credentials who wish to obtain their REAL ID. This weekend, Saturday appointments will commence at 13 of the participating centers. Starting March 29th, the Driver Services Center in Savannah, Tennessee, will offer Saturday appointments. The department stated that Saturday appointments will persist until the REAL ID implementation date of May 7th. Participating Middle Tennessee Service Centers are; Clarksville Driver Services Center located at 220 West Dunbar Cave Road, Columbia Driver Services Center located at 1701 Hampshire Pike, Cookeville Driver Services Center located at 1600 South Jefferson Avenue, and Nashville/Hickory Hollow Driver Services and Reinstatement Center located at 5216 Hickory Hollow Parkway.
