Lawrence County EMS Director Speaks with EMS Leaders at the Capitol

Tennessee EMS Day on the Hill saw EMS leaders and representatives from the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association convene at the Capitol on Wednesday. EMS Director Ayers and Assistant Director Watkins of Lawrence County met with state leaders to emphasize the significance of EMS. The group convened with lawmakers to deliberate on important EMS-related bills designed to enhance emergency medical services statewide. The group met briefly with Governor Bill Lee to discuss EMS’s vital role in communities. This type of advocacy secures the resources and support EMS providers need to keep delivering lifesaving care.
