Virginia Ann “Jenny” Michael Lovell
Born February 17, 1941
Virginia Ann “Jenny” Michael Lovell age 84, passed away March 17, 2025. She was born and
raised in Killen AL and later moved to Lester AL and then to Minor Hill TN where she called
home for over 30 years. She was a member of Minor Hill First Baptist Church. Pastor Bill Sharp
officiating. She will be buried at New Salem Cemetery in Lester, AL.
She loved her family, friends and her church family very much. She loved growing flowers,
cooking, reading, talking, sending cards and reading her Bible.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19 th , 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-
May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 20 th , 2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Otis Leo and Sylvia Michael, her brother, Jerry
Lyndon Michael and her sister Linda Gail Sharp, and grandsons, Brady Wayne Lovell, Anthony
Douglas Thompson, and great grand-daughter Dallas Jewel Mankin
She is survived by her children, Tamela Lovell Pettus, Greg Lovell (Courtney)
Sabrina Lovell Yeates (Larry), and Amy Lovell Threadgill (Greg)
14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her siblings, Delbert Michael (Brenda), Gloria Michael, and Sheila Redding (Danny).
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brandon Thompson, Shane Thompson, Bailey Lovell, Luke
Cowan, Levi Yeates and Dalton Yeates.
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Virginia Ann “Jenny”
Michael Lovell.
